I'm still shocked.

I don't know what I'm going to do, I was growing my hair out so I could feather it like I did in the 80's to show my support for the struggle that Farrah was going through....but now I don't know what to do with my hair....maybe I'll just shave it all off!

Thank you for posting this Rick. I am so sick and tired and mad at the gay community at large, I can't take it anymore either. Sometimes I'm really ashamed to be a part of such a hot-headed, fickle, whiny group.

We've talked before, so you know where I stand. I'm just really glad to hear someone else who feels the same way.

How come I can't find a clip that aired the "Stickball Sally" that was on the The Great Space Coaster show.

I am looking everywhere for it. Because I was in it in Junior High in NYC at the time and would like to show it to my wife.

Does anyone have all the old episodes???

When we lived in Rogers Park, our bathroom was pink and white tile, with a pink sink and pink tub. But the best part was the walls above the tile--they were wallpapered in sparkly silver and peach wallpaper. It was awful. But when people came over and we gave them a tour, we played it up as so awful it was amusing, and the bathroom quickly became legend. So all that seems bad does not need to be bad.

Of course, then the bathroom ceiling caved in one night, and suddenly what had seemed bad and then not bad was very, very bad...But that too has become an amusing legend, the story we tell at parties and such. The point, I guess, is to remember that someday the present will be a memory; how we approach the present determines the types of memories we will acquire.

Sounds like a nice place. Be sure to take some pictures! I'm anxious to see it.

As for the tile in the bathroom, Daryl's and my first house was built in the 1950's. It still had the original tile- pink in one bathroom and blue in the other. I loved it. I did the bathrooms in kind of a 50's motiff using a lot of black and white and old LIFE photos from that era.

Although our current house was also built in the 50's (it's only one street over from our first one), it was completely redone. They have (or had when we moved in as we've been here 6 years) new counter tops, cabinets, and tile. They're real nice, but sometimes I miss the character that the old bathrooms had.

I'm sure with your creativity and imagination you'll have your place looking great.
