As for AZ, Flagstaff and the White Mountains area east of Phoenix don't get that hot. Tucson gets about 100-105 or so mostly.

Re: Frozen, but still here!

I used to HATE California. Then I lived in Sioux Falls, SD for a year. I pissed and moaned until my husband took me back to California. Now, it's as far away from Hawaii as I ever want to be. Polynesians don't "mummify" well.

Stay snuggly!

Re: Frozen, but still here!

"Well, I have to go start mummifying myself to catch a train." OMG LOL!

I won't mention the temperature here today...

Re: Frozen, but still here!

Even winter's not so bad--well, except for crappy minus-17 nights like last night. We complain so much about the cold we forget a lot of winter isn't all that cold. I go out for walks when it's in the 20s or the non-windy teens. It's just those few weeks of single digits and below that I could do without.

Mind you, opening my balcony door this morning and watching a cloud form in my living room was pretty nifty, too, so even minus-17 has its moments.
